	Artist Rooms An outstanding collection of contemporary art recently acquired by the National Galleries of Scotland and the Tate, through a generous donation by British collector and dealer, Anthony d'Offay. Individual rooms devoted to a particular artist will be on display all over the UK. In the opening displays in Edinburgh, works by Andy Warhol, Vija Celmins, Ellen Gallagher, Damien Hirst, Alex Katz and Francesca Woodman can be viewed. 	Crosby, Stills & Nash Forty years ago they played their second concert ever at Woodstock Festival, and this summer Crosby, Stills & Nash, who have in the meantime become one of the most legendary recording collectives of all time, arrive at Edinburgh Castle for what promises to be a very special night. 	Duran Duran Having penned some of the defining pop songs of the 1980s including 'Rio' and 'Girls on Film', Duran Duran remain a band with enormous appeal for an incredibly wide-ranging fanbase. Currently, the band are working on a new album with darling-of-the-music-industry Mark Ronson, but will be taking a break from the studio to play one of only two UK shows this summer in the dramatic setting of Edinburgh Castle. 	The Gathering In a highlight of VisitScotland's Homecoming 2009 programme Holyrood Park gets its very own Highland games and clan gathering. Designed to be one of the largest clan gatherings in history, the clan members will be on show in a parade up the Royal Mile to a pageant at Edinburgh Castle esplanade. The games will incorporate the Deuchars World Highland Games Heavy Events Championship, a Clan Village, Scottish piping, Scottish produce and a genealogy area. 	Dylan Moran -- What It Is The BAFTA and Perrier award-winning comedian and actor performs for two nights only in his adopted home town this August. 	Scottish Ballet 40th Anniversary Tour Scotland's world-class national ballet company celebrates its 40th anniversary this year with a triple bill of contemporary works of choreography, set to the music of composers from Luciano Berio to Johann Sebastian Bach. The programme includes George Balanchine's 'Rubies', which was inspired by jewellery design, and Krzysztof Pastor's 'In Light and Shadow', which mixes the spirit and music of the Baroque period with the most contemporary of shapes.
